Ghana has many nice beaches, too. We spent spring break at a place called Golden Beach Resort in Busua, about 45 minutes drive from the bustling town of Takoradi. Both the beach and resort were nice and clean. There are three swimming pools where our kids spent most of their time, while the guys had fun with the surf. The rooms are spacious, and food was so-so. But you can also eat at nearby resorts and inns for variety.
